Entry from 7.00 pm - Ball opening ceremony 8.00 pm - "Alles Walzer!" 8.45 pm - Dinner 9.00 pm

The flower bedecked ballroom, with purpose built 120m² dance floor, and the traditional ball dress (long evening gowns for the ladies and dinner suits for the gentlemen) ensure there is an elegant atmosphere of Viennese charm and flair.

Our favourite orchestra, the "?", one of the most renowned dance and concert orchestras from Vienna, and the band "?" provide for a spirited evening's dancing by playing both classical and more modern dance melodies into the early hours.

In accordance with tradition, the Ball is formally opened by the Luxembourg debutante committee dancing a line up of polonaise, quadrille, polka, and waltz. Every year since 1984 a professional choreograph has selected up to 24 couples and prepared their display using tailor made choreography. The performance is a special feature of the Ball and its visual harmony attracts much attention in the press and TV reports of the evening.

Another highlight is the traditional midnight musical interlude.
